SUMMARY:Soldier Salute 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Soldier Salute collegiate wrestling tournament began a new annual tradition of recognizing and honoring our former\, current\, and future service members. The tournament is hosted by the Iowa City Area Sports Commission and includes both a women’s and men’s division. 100% of the annual tournament proceeds will be split between the United Service Organizations (USO) and a development fund targeted towards the continued growth of high school girls wrestling. \nThe tournament features two perennial BIG10 teams in the Minnesota Gophers and Iowa Hawkeyes. Navy\, University of North Carolina\, Wyoming and Bellarmine will all have their entire squad in attendance. Missouri\, Iowa State\, South Dakota State\, UNI\, Nebraska will all be represented as well.
